We are well equipped with frames, jewerly, scarves, collegiate items, blankets, baby gear, etc. There is however a method to our madness. We are family owned and believe working together is the key to our success.
We are a unique specialty store and a mother and daughter team- Debra and Taryn Brody. Tradition, Service, Value and Creativity are the driving principles of our shopping experience. Debra Brody, also an interior designer opened the first Royal Appointments in 1987 with stores in downtown Chicago and then continued operation in the northern Chicago suburbs. Eventually, they settled into Northbrook Court in Northbrook, Illinois where they continue to please valued customers with personalized solutions for all occasions.
Debra’s daughter, Taryn, took an early role in the business first starting at the age of twelve. Following graduation from college, Taryn joined her mother full time. With each visit to Royal Appointments, the two women surprise customers with imaginative results from their ongoing search for the perfect merchandise.
